Original caption: Wally Cox (right), television's "Mr. Peepers," discusses his lead role in a revival of The Vegetable with Donald Macdonald, who played the lead on Broadway in 1924. They are shown looking out over Central Park from a Fifth Avenue building where a rehearsal for the revival was in progress. The Vegetable will play the Summer Circuit, opening at Marblehead, Massachusetts, later moving to Hindsdale, Illinois, and returning to Massachusetts for a one week. ( July 1954)
