It went through three names, two leading ladies, and two networks, yet The Hogan Family managed to last six seasons and is well remembered as one of the great family sitcoms of the '80s. Our good friend Eric is back with another retro interview on his wonderful interview website, JustMyShow.com! Listen to on and off camera insight as Eric hangs out with Mark Hogan himself, Jeremy Licht! For six seasons, Jeremy Licht played the role of Mark Hogan on The Hogan Family. His other credits include the ABC TV movie The Comeback Kid starring John Ritter and appearances on TV hits such as St. Elsewhere and Hotel. These days, he spends his time working as a financial advisor with his company JL Capital Management. It is a very fun interview and Eric also has a bonus clip of him asking Jeremy on when on earth the Hogan Family is coming to DVD?! Life is such a sweet insanity, indeed! Head on over to Just My Show to listen to this new great interview!
Jeremy Licht, former child star of the '80s sitcom The Hogan Family, and his wife Kimberly Wallis Licht welcomed their daughter New Year's Eve, he tells PEOPLE exclusively.
Jordan Zoey Licht was born 5½ weeks early at 10:59 p.m. on Dec. 31 at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in L.A.
"We were planning to go to a New Year's Eve party when my wife started having contractions," says Licht, 38, who played Jason Bateman's brainy brother on the series. "I'm thrilled – shocked that it was this soon, but thrilled. Everybody's healthy, and it really was an incredible experience."
Jordan weighed 4 lbs., 10 oz. and was 18½ inches long. "She's already taller than me." quips Licht, who says he's enjoying feeding the baby and even changing her diapers. "My time is 4 a.m. on so my wife can get some sleep. I really love the time I have with her."
Licht and his wife Kimberly, 38, an actress who has appeared on episodes of CSI: NY and Charmed, married over Memorial Day weekend in 2007. It's the second marriage and first child for both.
"My wife is such a trooper," says Licht, who now runs his own financial planning company, JL Capital Management. "I'm a blessed man."
Danny Ponce also had a son a few months ago. Congratulations to him!
Jeremy Licht, former child star of the '80s sitcom The Hogan Family, and his wife Kimberly Wallis Licht are expecting their first child, a girl, in early February, he tells PEOPLE exclusively. "I'm excited about becoming a Dad. I always knew I wanted a child. It just never quite worked out until now,” says Licht, 37, who starred as Jason Bateman's brainy brother on the series. "We feel very lucky to be at this place in our lives – to have finally found each other and gotten it right," adds Wallis Licht, 38, who is also an actress that has appeared on episodes of CSI: NY and Charmed and plans to continue acting once she's a mom. "Knock on wood, I've had an easy pregnancy, no morning sickness, no crazy cravings. The plan is to try to get the body back as fast as possible and jump back in." Licht expects his life will change once he's a father, but he says he's ready for the challenge. "Everyone has this subtle laughter, like you don't know what you're getting into. But I'm looking forward to it much more than I'm scared." The couple met on the Jewish online dating site, JDate.com, in 2005 and married over Memorial Day weekend in 2007. It's the second marriage and first child for both of them. Licht had a hard time getting showbiz work after The Hogan Family went off the air in 1991, so he started his own financial planning company, JL Capital Management. He also sells health and life insurance, but doesn't rule out a return to acting.
The Hogan Family will join the ABC Family Channel schedule starting April 3rd. It will air weekdays at 12PM and 12:30PM ET/PT. They are starting with Season 3. Confirmed: They WILL air the Valerie episodes after the first rotation. They just want to start the series with the more "popular" episodes, so they don't lose the audience.

Jason Bateman Hosts One-Hour Special Celebrating the Awards Show’s Most Memorable Highlights on Wednesday, September 15 Santa Monica, CA, August 25, 2004 – TV Land continues to roll out its line-up of original specials this Fall and celebrates The Primetime Emmy Awards with an unprecedented look back at some of the show’s most memorable televised highlights over the last 50 years as the network premieres TV Land Presents: Emmy’s Greatest Moments on Wednesday, September 15 at 10 p.m. ET/PT. Hosted by Jason Bateman, star of FOX’s hit comedy Arrested Development, TV Land, in association with the Academy of Television Arts & Sciences, was granted rare access to the Television Academy’s vast archive collection to look back at past Emmy Awards where television history was made. Great moments, some of which have not been seen since they first aired, will be showcased in this one-hour special, including clips from 1955, the year of The Emmys’ first national broadcast hosted by Steve Allen, to 1977, when the year in television could be summed up in one word: Roots, to 2001, when the Emmy Awards were postponed twice and ultimately aired to prove once again that laughter is the best medicine. The show is executive produced by Dann Netter (AFI’s 100 Years…100 Movies specials) and Gary Smith (Executive Producer, 54th Annual Primetime Emmy Awards) in conjunction with the Academy of Television Arts & Sciences’ executive producer Michael Rosen and Television Academy Governor (Production Executives Peer Group) Barbara Wellner. Gary Smith also directs. “Television history unfolds every year at The Primetime Emmy Awards,” explains Sal Maniaci, Vice President, Development and Production, TV Land and Nick at Nite. “The event itself has become a global affair, and with the help of the Television Academy, TV Land has been able to compile a special which highlights some of the most unforgettable, funniest and moving moments from these awards shows.” “For more than 50 years, the Emmys have been a landmark event in television,” Television Academy Chairman Dick Askin commented. “Every generation of television viewers has favorite memories from the telecast, and this is the best way to combine these exciting moments.” TV Land Productions was created in 2003 to create original programming that complements the network’s successful acquired programming slate. TV Land Productions is headed by Sal Maniaci, Vice President of Development and Production, TV Land and Nick at Nite. In addition to this production, TV Land Productions has also produced The TV Land Awards Show: A Celebration of Classic TV (March 2003 and 2004) and the Emmy-nominated The Dick Van Dyke Show, Revisited, the network’s first original special for broadcast, which premiered on CBS in May.
