The Arena Mega Musical 

All-Star Cast Announced for 
World Premiere in Australia

Dainty Consolidated Entertainment, in association with David Ian and Paramount Pictures,
will produce and stage 'Happy Days: The Arena Mega Musical' to tour Australia in
October-November.  This is the first ever live production based on Paramount's worldwide
hit television series, "Happy Days".

Starring CRAIG McLACHLAN (The New Rocky Horror Show, Grease) as the Fonz, the
sensational all-star cast includes the Australian return of JO BETH TAYLOR (The New
Rocky Horror Show), REBECCA GIBNEY (Halifax, Come In Spinner), making her transition
from the small screen to live performance; JON STEVENS (Jesus Christ Superstar);
WENDY HUGHES (State Coroner, Return to Eden); DOUG PARKINSON (Grease, Buddy);
PIPPA GRANDISON (Muriel's Wedding, Mary Bryant); 1996 Toyota Star Maker Quest
winner DARREN COGGAN, MATT HETHERINGTON  and CRAIG ILLOT.

And in a major entertainment coup, Dainty Consolidated Entertainment has secured
Australia's chart topping pop act HUMAN NATURE as the Doo Wop Group.

The all star cast will also feature, by special arrangement, the original "Mr Cunningham"
from the hit television series, TOM BOSLEY, a distinguished actor with an illustrious
career on Broadway, including, most recently, Disney's "Beauty And The Beast" and a string
of other acclaimed performances.

The production will mark the 25th anniversary of the popular TV series, which starred
HENRY WINKLER as the Fonz.   MR WINKLER will act as the Creative Consultant on the
arena tour, following involvement in the development, which started as a workshop in London.

Renowned concert & theatrical producer, Paul Dainty, in collaboration with David Ian, expanded
on the workshop production, and developed "The Arena Mega Musical Tour", an extravaganza
featuring a company of over 70 performers.

Happy Days will be a musical spectacular, packed with classic rock and roll hits like "Shake Rattle
And Roll", "See You Later Alligator", "Great Balls of Fire", "Blueberry Hill" and "Why Do Fools
Fall In Love".

The show, licensed by Viamcom Consumer Products, will be directed by David Gilmore, whose
credits include the UK stage hits Grease and the Award Winning The Hired Man; set design is
by Tony Award winning Brian Thomson (King & I, The Rocky Horror Show, Grease);
choreography by one of the world's best - Anthony Van Laast (Mama Mia, Boy From Oz).

The Costume Designer is Michael Wilkinson & Lighting Designer John Rayment.

The script was written by Jon Conway, Terry Morrison and Fred Fox Jr.

'Happy Days: The Arena Mega Musical' will make its' world premiere on October 15, 1999,
at Sydney's spectacular new indoor entertainment  venue, the 20 000 seat Superdome at
Homebush Bay, adjacent to Stadium Australia.
