Default "thread bumping"

Is it so wrong to bump up a topic? Just because a thread has been forgoten doesn't mean it doesn't deserve to see the front page again. And sometimes there is nothing else worth repling to on the front page. So you have to go looking for a n older thread that is still juicy. Ya know.

What do u think?

oh god, just give it up.

no, it's not annoying unless the person only bumps up their threads and no one elses. it's obvious they're seeking attention and want their name on the board constantly.

It's annoying when threads are bumped up for no reason. If you have something important to say about the topic, then you can bump it up.

I don't like old threads bumped up because, for the most part, the posters are no longer members.

I think a better idea is to create a new thread with the same topic. That makes more sense to me.

Good lord. All you're accomplishing here, MonarC, is making yourself look even more foolish than most people here already think you are.

Just swallow your pride and give this up. You're not going to win.

No. Whats so wrong with it? I mean, if you're only bumping up topics to make a post and whatnot, then ya, its useless.. but if you registered after or had a change of thoughts on a certain subject, why not?

Well sometimes it can be quite imbarassing because if you posted in it a long time ago and you said something really stupid, you have to read it. Sometimes it freaks me out so much I edit what I posted. I hate having to do that.
