Smile A Newbie (is that how you spell it...i can never tell)

Hey, I'm Allie and I can't wait to start on my first fic on G.I. I've been reading everyone's fic's for a few days now and you all are very talented.... and a few( who shall remain nameless) are a bit...cooky....(don't worry that's a good thing in my eyes) I used to be a MAJOR MAP fan, but that has changed ( ye-haw!!) and I am now a MAG fan, mostly, but I am not against anything at all. Well, I'm trying to brain storm right now on what to right...well, I guess I'll go to the drawing board...(or in this case, the t.v)

Hey! Welcome to the board!

So glad that you came over and joined the ranks of the MAG Shippers. Hehe. By default, we're usually Ginger/Proffy Shippers as well. Although MAG are always cuter. Hehe.

I look forward to reading your stories!

pssh! MAG are always cuter! yeah, ok.

no, i'm kidding. you're right. they are "cuter." GP are a different form of cute. not even "cute" really. more like...angsty....or something. lol. we've been through this, nevermind.

anyway....welcome to the board! so nice to see that people are converting to the TRUTH. lol. MAP is just wrong on so many levels. the age difference....the fact that Proffy only seems to get um..."awkward" around Ginger....the fact that MA only has eyes for Gilly.....etc, etc, etc. ha ha!

only a FEW of us are a BIT cooky? nope, not us. you've got it all wrong. we're ALL totally insane.

Default Note the clown....

you guys think you're all really weird and insane?....try me, i've read some of these stories (right now The Scout) and the replys...Gilligan's Island was the main reason I looked into it, but after i took the time to read the convo's between people, I realized, that you guys are my kind of people! I was trying to decide on a story line in school today and everone kept on sayin "Jilly, Jilly I need help on problem....etc etc....." i'm thinking of the episode about MA thinks she's Ginger and has to perform, and the professor THINKS he's fallin in love w/ MA but when REALLY he fell in love w/ Ginger.....get it, get it...yeah i didn't either, no but seriouly(how can I be if i cant even spell it right) or Proffy is giving a nature tour to Gin,Gilly, and MA, and then they fall into a hole that the natives dug up or something to catch "trophys" and guess what happens?!?!?! (can i make it anymore obvious?) ((MAG, GP)) Well, right back and tell me what you think, I can't wait to start on it!!! *bouces up and down in her seat until she(I) falls on the floor* Until then, see ya!! - Jilly

Welcome! yeah we can be kinda... odd? should i say? anywho... glad to hear that you are not a MAP supporter, that's just wrong on every level, she's so much younger and clearly liked Gilligan.

Julie's right, Proffy and Ging are a different kind of cute, kinda like a more restrained adult denial thing. Proffy wouldn't have acted on any impulses because he was to shy. But it's still enjoyable to watch, who didn't like the Duke eppy, and Castaway Productions eppy! and the uncut version of Goodbye Island, which i saw just the other day! heh heh

Haha. Nah, we're all nuts, you'll fit right in.

Personally, I want a MAG story since they're so clearly lacking. But if there's any way to do MAG and GP in the same story, I think you'll please more people here.

Can't wait for you to start writing and posting! (Personally, I've been on the same page of my latest GI story for, oh, about a year. Haha).

What's "The Scout" that you were referring to? Did I miss something? LOL.

You know what, I think that anyone who can subtlely use the word hubub in every day life is a wonderful person. Hmm... three hours? Hopefully the weather there doesn't start getting rough and your tiny car is tossed... (that is if you have a tiny car) I know like three people who know what Gilligan's Island is in my high school and majority are teachers, but now, thanks to my ranting about the show, more people know about it. I have a teacher who looks like a blonde Gilligan with glasses and the Professor's intelligence, it's a little freaky I start humming the theme song from time to time when i'm talking to him before class.
