Default Whatever happened to the KOTTER revival series...?

Around 1995 or 1996, I remember seeing Ron Palillo and Robert Hegyes on a daytime talk show (I believe it was Danny Bonaduce's) and Hegyes said there was a show in development that would focus on the Sweathogs twenty years later in their adult lives.

He also said that John Sylvester White (Mr. Woodman) was a great guy and that everyone loved him on the set and that he was missed. He also said that all the guys on the show had the hots for Marcia Strassman (Mrs. Kotter).

I wonder if there really was a show or they were just saying that in the hopes that maybe someone would take the bait and try to do something along these lines.

Anybody know anything about this...?

I kinda remember the talk show.I think someone was saying that the sweathogs weren't so tough and they kinda mockingly walked to the guy to get at him.Anyways, it would be nice if the fellas could to maybe a two-hour movie to show whatever happened to their characters.

That would be good, but I doubt Travolta will participate. God, I hope they don't get Stephen Shortridge in his place!!!!

I don't mind Beau coming back. I wonder if Melanie Holler will come back? Probably not! I would love to see Freddie and Verna Jean back together and Judy Borden in the movie as well. I would have love to have seen DebraLee Scott come back as Rosalee Totzie, but we know that there is no chance of that happening. I hope John Travolta will come back as a favor at least.

It's no point of the actor who played Beau to come back because he was only a replacement for Vinny in season 4. I would like to see the actress who played Judy Borden comeback

Precisely. I mean, aside from us die-hard fans, who would even remember Beau?? He belongs on a sitcom cast-off universe with the two guys who tried to take the place of Bo & Luke on The Dukes Of Hazzard.

Whatever becomes of the reunion show, they better do it fast before certain people pass on.

Yep, John Sylvester White (Woodman) is already gone. I have a feeling Travolta won't do it, though.
