Hello, all.
![]() I was wondering which Maddie/David moments you think are the funniest, sweetest, craziest, most romantic...just the ones that exibit all-around perfect small-screen chemistry. Of course, I don't remember all the episodes, but I'll try my best. Add on whatever you can think of.I'm not even going to go into The Big Bang scene, because I'm assuming that's everybody's first choice. ![]() Another good one is the scene in the garage in "Witness for the Execution." I haven't seen this episode in forever, but I distinctly remember that particular scene. The kiss made me cry. ![]() I also loved the scene in "Tracks of my Tears" when Maddie comes back from Chicago and they share that long stare. Ahh...there's magic in the air... ~Lauren ![]()

i don't know. it's been a couple of years since i watched this stuff. i just know that i loved the entire series from the pilot until the end. and it just got better as they got closer.
the dialog of this show is some of the best on any tv show or movie. and with compitant(?) actors with great chemistry and timimg. what more can be asked for?

Responding to this thread......how much time do you have???
I love so many scenes, that it is really hard for me to answer.... here are a few that I am particularly fond off: the imaginary swapped kisses at the end of The Man Who Cried Wife... how each imagines what they want to do to the other, but neither does. the gambling scenes in the casino where they are winning in Money Talks, Maddie Walks the chase scene in the hearse and the dialogue in Knowing Her the bet in My Fair David Maddie and David in the adult book store in Funeral for a Doornail David and Maddie's monlogues in Big Man on Mulberry Street....his telling about his early disastrous marriage, hers as she tries to lamely explain why she has followed him to NYC the fight followed by terrific sex in I am Curious....Maddie the violation of the pact in To Heiress Human....where they can't keep their hands off each other even though they have agreed not to continue physical activity with each other. I will be back and post more great moments.....on another day.

I have a few minutes, so here are a few more:
the discussion about children between Maddie and David in Twas the Episode Before Christmas when David gallantly offers to "help her" if she wanted to have a child; Maddie sneaking over to David's house late at night to talk to him during the episode Maddie's Turn to Cry, while they sit on David's trunk and she cries and they share a sweet kiss; sneaking into the banquet dressed as waiters/waitress in The Murder's in the Mail as they do the whole "Man with the Mole on his nose" bit; when Maddie catches David being a peeping Tom in All Creatures Great and Not So Great and she insists he calls the woman to apologize and then she gets mad when the woman tries to come on to him; the insanity at the hospital admissions desk in Maddie Hayes Got Married. I'll come back tomorrow with more..... |

And here are a few more:
the telephone call in Dream Sequence always rings twice where David tells her she is the "sexiest sexist he has ever had the good fortune to scrutinize....satarize...fantasize...etc.etc.etc." the chase scene where Maddie is driving in The Murder's in the Mail and David is telling her where to go, what to do the scene at the end of Big Man on Mulberry Street on the airplane the argument about calling the police in Twas the Episode Before Christmas tied up in the shower and getting untied by turning on the water in "I See England, I See France..." |

My moment of moments= David and Maddie together stuck in the elevator after she lost the baby and they don't talk about it.The moment she starts to cry when he snaps and starts smashing the speaker and then Maddie falls in his arms and cries real tears. (well they looked real) Boy, this is REAL , this is not acting, REAL love was in the air! Gave me the hibijibys! ![]() |

Hi everybody!!!! I'm Carina, as as u can see I'm new here... I just wanted to say hi, and that i'm one of those crazy obsessed people who are adicted to Moonlighting...
If I have to choose an scene... it wolud be the one in "I am curious... Maddie" Ok, u are gonna say i'm crazy (indeed i am, as i said before) but i know the dialogues by heart... ALL THE ARGUMENT between Maddie and David is in my head. And u know what? When i'm walking to go to somewhere and i'm bored... well, i start repeting the dialog as i walk!!!! And its like watching it all over again!!! Fantastic therapy!!! hahahaha Ok, GTG... i'll write some more later on... Kisses to all!!!

Hey, Carina!
I'm Lauren, and I too, am a Moonlighting fanatic. ![]() I knew somebody would pick that scene as their first choice. It's a great one, no doubt about it. I'm sure I'd know all the dialog if I'd seen this episode within the year, but I haven't so... .Anyway, nice to meet ya. TTYL. ~Lauren (BTW, did you find this site through the link at DavidandMaddie.com? Just curious.) |

Well actually yes, indeed, i found the link in davidandmaddie.com
And the truth is I picked that moment 'cos... uhmm... I havent seen many episodes... You see... I humm... I used to watch the show when I was a kid (I think I was 9 or 10 and right now I'm 22) so... as u imagine, i dont remeber everything... But know ive been downloading (can I say that here or is it forbiden?? ) some eps and im watching them... But i still need to see a great deal of eps... In the meantime, what im doing is to read the reviews in some pages, to catch up with the storyline... Ok, im talking nonsense here... hehehehe BTW... I made the transcript of that scene from "I am curious..." 'cos i had to translate it in spanish for a friend... But there is one line i couldnt pick Can somebody tell me the exactly words that Maddie tells David when she says "Two years of.....???????.... and......??????....... stucking in a man who thinks that culture is dark beer. This is ridiculous, Im miserable" Thank u guys... |

Carina The lines are these: "Two years of bees being and ducks ducking and a man who thinks that culture is dark beer. This is ridiculous, I'm miserable..." What she means is she is tired of David's jokes, witty sayings and his lack of real culture (what she thinks is culture....like fine wine, nice clothes, intellectual conversation) .... She is telling him exactly what she doesn't like about him, just as he has just done by telling her she is superficial, uptight and cold. This argument is just fierce and a perfect summation of their two contrary personalities and opposite dispositions and viewpoints. A really well-written and well-acted scene.... |
