No not for awhile. The last time they did it the writers wrote it all wrong and rewrote history... They made Niki mean and a murderor, when history shows that Niki was a good-time gal who wanted to have fun, she wouldn't really hurt someone though. It was tommy that was the violent personality... Also that was Erika Slezaks WORST acting ever... and shes normally one of the best on daytime. I say give the DID a rest for a few years and then reintroduce it, but only if they follow history.

Ditto, factsoflife. I agree with you, they should give it a rest for a few years, which is what they have been doing since they started Viki's D.I.D. many years ago. They always bring it back every 5 years or so. However, I don't think Erika Slezak could ever do any bad acting. She is still at the top of her game, even if her storylines (when she has one) aren't always top notch. She has to act with what the writers give her unfortunately.

I remember back in 1993-1994, the peak of the DID. Erika Slezak won the emmy, and she more than deserved it. OLTL had me on the edge of my seat everyday- it was probably the best work I've ever seen from a soap.

I remember at the time there was a controversy with Erika winning the emmy and not Susan Lucci. Watching both shows at the time, there was no contest. BTW- does anybody else here question how good of an actress Susan Lucci supposidly is? I mean, I love her, yes, but I don't think she's as good as people want to believe.

Oh, has anybody seen her daughter Liza Huber on Passions? She sucked at first, but I guess it was only because of the material. When she lost her baby and even up to now, she's ON FIRE. I want to see her get a nomination for Best actress. Wouldn't that be cute? Susan Lucci and her daughter both on the same ballot?

Susan Lucci is a good actress, that i believe, and i believe that she most ceartinly did deserve an Emmy. however i do believe that what took her all thoes years to win was picking bad submissison. I think all those years she thought that crying and screaming were her best skiils, however the thing is her best material has always and will always be when she puts aside all the over-the-top theatrics and uses subtely. Her best scenes revolve around Erica's Daughters, Bianca and Kendall. I agree that in 1995 Erika Slezak deserved that Emmy and there was no question at all. Erika and OLTL were at the top of their game from 1992-1996, and believe me as a die-hard fan i know it and miss it.
