Cool Hollywood chit chat - Harrison Ford

Now that Harrison Ford is a divorced man I wonder if he'll marry Calista Flockheart? Or will he take a year or two off to savor his independence.

He pretty much did the whole single again thing when he first split up with his wife, then he hooked up with Ally McBeal. I guess now he's back in family mode with her. My guess is he'll be tying the knot with her sometime in 2004.

Then maybe he'll go back to being in good movies.

I feel the same way Mijada. I guess it's better that he has someone to love than for him to be out there drinking and partying....... He was getting boozed up alot.

Yeah, I remember that phase. It was really wierd reading about his exploits. He was always this media shy star who was never seen out and about, and here he is in all the gossip columns hanging out in clubs, and going to parties.

And he got an earrring! Han Solo would never get an earring!

I didn't even know he was married- I am so not up to date! I clicked on a link that said 'Harrison Ford gets divorce' and I was thinking, 'He married Calista?'. Besides- I think it's ok for them to get married. Most Hollywood couples seem to be better when they're not married- once they get married they seem to resent each other almost immediately.

Wink Oh No! Is it over?

From the IMDB:
Movie star Harrison Ford has revealed his relationship with Calista Flockhart is "on the rocks", during a drunken night out in Mexico. The Indiana Jones star, 61, was presumed to be pressing ahead with wedding plans with the former Ally McBeal star, 39, after the finalization of his divorce from ex-wife Melissa Mathison last week. But, after downing at least five tequilas with beer chasers and dancing and flirting with local women in a bar in San Felipe, Baja California, the "drunk and bewildered" actor told revelers of his two-year relationship with Flockhart, "It's on the rocks". Locals were stunned to find themselves in the company of the normally reclusive star, after he flew himself in on his own private jet and stayed in a local hotel.

Hey you're right TJL! I just read about him in the NY post yesterday. He was drinking and carrying on again. Let's see if he goes down the aisle with Calista.

More Harrison Ford goodies from the IMDB!

Movie star Harrison Ford has reportedly paid his ex-wife a whopping $85 million in a record-breaking divorce settlement. The agreement between the Star Wars star and ex-spouse Melissa Mathison breaks new ground, and leaves the actor free to marry Calista Flockhart. According to British newspaper The Mail On Sunday, the deal not only divides assets the couple shared, but it also entitles Mathison to get back future earnings from films Ford made while they were together. Ford, 61, did not sign a pre-nuptial agreement with his wife and has agreed to split earnings from the royalties, videos and DVDs from films including Air Force One and the Indiana Jones trilogy. Mathison, 53, will also keep all earnings from her screenplay for Steven Spielberg's ET, which she wrote before she wed Ford.

$85 Million?

Ally McBeal had better be worth it...
