Default Alone Music

What do you like to listen to when your'e alone? So you can play it loud, or dance or sing without others criticizing. So you can get lost in it.

Movie soundtracks and really, really cheesy songs. Stuff that some of my friends would probably cringe at, even though it's ok with them when I do play that kinda stuff. Then I blare my stereo and sing along while I'm cleaning the house or taking a shower.

When I`m feeling sad, I listen to Grateful Dead Phish, and some 60s music. Its cheers me up.

When I`m p*ssed off, I`ll listen to Fiona Apple or Evanescence or some heavy metal.

To get a real feeling of being alone, listen to Bob Dylan's low-key, intimately composed and performed masterpiece John Wesley Harding.

Besides the Beatles when I am alone I listen to John Lee Hooker's "The Healer" or anything by BB King.

come on everybody!!!

Alone music is the music you're too embarassed to listen to in front of "cool" friends. For me, this includes Abba, Olivia Newton-John, Yoko Ono, Ace Of Base and co.

Come on, who hasn't "rocked out" to guilty pleasure music when alone... but wouldn't dare in the presence of someone else? haha

don't forget when you're driving alone and a power ballad comes on, LOL. You know that if there's no passengers in the car, you're going to crank up "Total Eclipse Of The Heart" singing every word by heart to it if it comes on the radio, haha.

When I'm alone, usually Dashboard Confessional, AFI, or a lot of my 80's stuff, particularly The Clash, The Ramones, Culture Club, GNR, Bon Jovi, AC/DC, The Cure...

Well, I'm not "ashamed" of anything that I listen to!
But the closest thing that I can get to your definition is that I do like Metallica. (And Justice For All) album. My son got me hooked on that while he was playing along with it on his guitar over and over.

I also like listening to Dean Martin and Frank Sinatra .

but ..........I AM NOT ASHAMED!

I'm proud of the music I like. I mostly enjoy listening to piano music such as Chopin and David Lanz.

AND THE ALAN PARSONS PROJECT!

neither am I really, but for SOME of my friends, I'd dread to see how they'd laugh at me if I was blasting and singing along to something like Olivia Newton-John or Barry Manilow or something along those lines, LOL.

"I'm Beauitful" by Bette Midler..

Also ANYTHING by BSB or NSYNC or Spice Girls.

I do that all the time when I'm alone. And I also sing along to "Mandy," when noone's looking.
