Default Was there a Sitcom episode you accidently watched as a Child and it made you really

UNCOMFORTABLE? I think i was 7 or 8 years old and I will never forget How shocked I was after seeing what happened to the George Jefferson character. Seeing George Jefferson get Stabbed in the alley and holding his stomach as a 8 year old kid made me extremely uncomfortable.

Does anyone else have a episode thet saw by a accident that made them uncomfortable

It's not a sitcom, but when I was about 8 or 9 years old, I watched an episode of The Mod Squad.

The storyline is vague to me, but it had to do with a campus shooting. All these students were getting mowed down.

I remember I was shaken up for a few days following the show.

A couple of Twilight Zone episodes;
1. Little Girl Lost- Where a little girl gets lost by falling into the 4th dimension( I kept checking the wall by my bed!)
2. The Hithhiker-Where this woman is traveling and keeps seeing the same hitchhiker

Those shows just freaked me out! But I loved T Z anyway! It was really fun being scared!

I secretly watched "Maude" a few times when I was a kid and the little TV was placed in my room because I was sick, I guess. (This show was absolutely forbidden in my house, but I thought the character of Maude was cool.) I was about 10, and she was pregnant and they were talking about whether she would keep the pregnancy or get an abortion. I was not sure what abortion meant at that age, but the way they were discussing it made me feel very weird.

Also, I remember that several episodes of "Medical Center" had very controversial episodes (most of which I didn't understand that well) and those made me sort of uncomfortable.

My parents kept me from watching most violent things on TV, but I remember watching a TV movie that sort of freaked me out - I think I was 12 or 13 at the time - "Mary Jane Harper Cried Last Night." It starred Susan Dey from the Partridge Family as a young mother who physically abuses her 4 year-old daughter, and ends up accidentally killing her. That was very upsetting to watch!

Well this isn't a sitcom but I remember watching That's Incredible! when I was a kid. Some of those stories used to freak me out.
I can't think of any sitcom eps that really upset me though.

I didn't accidentally watch it but I saw an episode of Step by Step in which Carol kept having nightmares after reading a book called "Die, Mommy, Die." The nightmare shown scared me (I was in elementary school at the time). I thought it was freaky seeing the family with red eyes, especially Cody. Karen had hair like Mrs. Frankenstein and that was scary to me (you would probably understand having been a kid and all). I thought it was really creepy when they closed in on her as her nightmare was coming to an end. I hadn't seen the episode in years but nowadays I wouldn't be afraid of it. I might actually think it is kind of funny.
