Guys,
I LOVE the fact that Boomrang has been showing The Flintstones commercial free! There is a very small fade-to black in the original 'Rise and Shine" Opening where something might be missing but I think that the shows from Boomrang are pretty much intact! I have noticed scenes that syndicates have shortened or taken out completely. The shows do come in at around 25 minutes so everything seems to be there. You may remember that when Cartoon Network acquired the series, that not only did they restore the prints, they also restored the original "Rise and Shine" opening AND added 3 minutes of previously cut footage. Bommrang is the sister station of Cartoon Network and they are doing an excellent job with showcasing this great series! Now all we need are the original commercials! Jack |

Guys,
Does anyone know the answer to this thread? Have any of you been able to compare Boomerang's versions to what is on the DVD's for varification? Thanks! Jack |

Does Winston Cigarettes sponsored the show originally?

They're probably one of the original sponsors. One-A-Day Vitamins is another if you have the first season on DVD (in the extra features on the last disc). I haven't opened my season 2 package yet.

I love that Boomerang has the Flintstones, but does anyone else think they don't show it enough?
Maybe it's just that they aren't shown at times when I can watch them.
