Question Trivia question

I was wondering about something... Maybe one of you can help? How did CC and Max met for the first time? And what about their business? I mean… Did CC and Max met during their school days and decided to start their business? But didn't Max go to school in England? I also heard something about CC started as his secretary. But wouldn't that be a work below her social and educated status? Any guesses about that?

Well I remember C.C. saying once that she was maid of honor at Max's first wedding, so I've always assumed that she was a friend of Sara's and she kind of got her the job. About the secretary thing, maybe C.C. took the job because it was all that was availible, and besides, I think she'd do just about anything to get close to Max!

Lightbulb Trivia question

Oh! That's interesting! Thanks for the info! I've never thought that CC was really a friend of Sara! I only remember a scene where CC is fighting with Fran after her marriage with Max. CC "accuses" Fran that she has stolen "her boyfriend" and that she's pregnant with "her babies". Max caught her when she said that to Fran and thread her to stop or he would fire her. After that CC follows Max when he leaves the room claiming that she and Fran are friends like she was with his first wife "Sally". I nearly forgot that scene and never took it serious. It didn't convince me CC and Sara were really friends. But we all know how CC is with names. I don't know.

BTW wasn't there an episode were CC finally became Max' equal partner?

In any way I think that you are right that CC would do *everything* to be close to Max.

Also, C.C. took Sara's parents out to dinner that time they came to visit. I don't think she would've done that, unless she was friends with Sara. (Well, I guess she might if it meant she could talk to them about not letting Fran adopt the kids! ) And yes, you're right, C.C. did quit once unless Max agreed to make her partner.

Oh! I remember that, too! CC and Fran also had a "contest" once about who would be the better wife for Max. IIRC his parents were involved here, too. I always enjoy Niles reactions to such competitions and other things CC gets herself in. He has such a great body language and mimic, don't you think?!
