Default Telephone Question. Do you know anyone who blocks their number when they call you

but wants you to UNBLOCK your number when you call them? They have some nerve.

I'm one of those bastards.

My number's always blocked, and you have to dial *82 before my number to call me.

It's not that big of a deal.

Because I like to know who's calling me before I answer the phone so I can decide whether or not I want to talk to them in advance.

It's not a huge issue. Anyone who knows me and wants to talk to me can take the extra second to dial *82 when they call.

As for my number being blocked, well... I just like to make crank phone calls with zero possibility of getting caught. Hell, I know people who also have *82 call-screening and I have no problem dialing it to unblock my number for them.
"I have to dial three numbers so someone who probably already knows my number can see it?!? Holy ****! How dare they?!"

There are bigger things in the world to get pissy about. Like....oh, anything else.

I do have to say this though: I can completely understand why one would want to know if *you* were calling prior to answering the phone.
