Lightbulb Simular episodes

Has anyone ever noticed a simularity between episodes'The Letter'and'Alone At Last'?In'The Letter',Archie had been snooping in Mike and Gloria,s bedroom, and came upon a love letter Mike had written to another girl, causing great turmoil in the house.Mike finally gets so angry,he yells insults at Archie and storms out of the house[having decided to stay at a hotel].Gloria then goes into one of her crying scenes, and calls her father a monster, before storming out of the house herself.Edith gets mad too,and becomes the last person to storm out of the house, leaving Archie with the house all to himself.[Edith and Gloria stay with Gloria,s friend at her place.]'Alone At Last'had the Bunkers helping the Stivics move next door.Apparently Mike had forgotten to have the furnace of their new home repaired. When Archie goes too far by saying'That dumb pollack forget to have the furnace repaired.',Mike puts it to him straight, and loses his cool by yelling at Archie and calling him nasty names.Just before he storms out of the house,he gives Archie a hilariously ignorant gesture.Gloria then ignores her father and tearfully says goodbye to her mother, before leaving to join her husband next door.I,ll never forget Edith,s line to Archie after that,'I,m not sure who married a meathead,Gloria or me.'She later joined Mike and Gloria next door.Leaving Archie to make his own supper,a nice juicy steak, which he ends up burning to a crisp. Can you see any resemblance between these two episodes?

The only real similiarity is that Arch is left to fend for himself for a bit as the result of a fight. Fave line from "Alone At Last"-- "I'll eat steak til I BUST!!" He always ends up in hot water when he's left alone..he really needs adult supervision!

They did have some similarities. He manages to make everyone mad at him and then gets left all alone. But it doesn't really seem to bother him does it? He thinks he's in the right and thats all that matters.
