Thumbs up Hawkeye and Houlihan

My two favourite characters are Hawkeye Pierce and Major Margret"Hot Lips"Houlihan.I find Hawkeye to be somewhat like me.He,s very good at speaking his peace and makes very good points and observations.I,ll never forget his statement about having to eat the same food day after day. With everyone pounding on the tables shouting"WE WANT SOMETHING ELSE",he did an impressive little dance.Houlihan has spunk.Very outspoken and mature.I really like her.It seemed that these two characters didn,t much like eachother in the beginning. But gradually,as time went on,they not only became good friends, but developed a sexual and intimate passion for one another.I,ll never forget the way they bid eachother farewell at the end of the show,s very last episode.

Both very good characters, certainly, but I preferred the fireworks when they didn't like each other! Hotlips was so good as an antihero type, clashing with Hawkeye and Trapper, but secretly fancying the latter. I liked the way she'd side with Frank all the way, and collide head on with Hawk and Trap, and then switch it all off to go totally professional in the OR. She was a great nurse.

I can't even stand the thought of Hawkeye and Hotlips "together". For some reason Major Houlihan was one of my least favorites and I liked episodes without her better.(Unless, of course, some near-evil trick was played on her).

I Love Hawkeye and 'Hot Lips'. I do. There is just something about their personalities that makes them click, even when they were fighting. although i didnt like her now until after frank left. i liked her but not a whole lot.

I don't think it would have ever worked out between Hawk and Margaret. I mean, we all saw would it would have been like in that episode (can't think of them name at the moment!) I think Hawkeye was just too flighty for a serious relationship, and Margaret wanted someone she could rely on. And, like other people have said, it was more fun to see Margaret secretly wanting Hawk/Trapper and being with Frank!
