Thumbs up "Star Wars - Clone Wars" on Cartoon Network

Anyone catch chapter one tonight?

It looked pretty good. It's done by the same folks who do "Samurai Jack," so the characters have the same look.

Plenty of action to boot.

I'm not to sure if I like the mini three minute cartoons though.

Chapter two is on Monday at 8.

I've seen them both. They are surprisingly good visually, and they are entertaining. The first time a Starwars themed TV show has been entertaining.

My only criticism so far is there doesn't appear to be a lead character. It bounces around from character to character. That might limit the shows long term appeal, but we will have to wait and see.

What, you didn't like the Ewoks cartoon?

I understand where you are coming from with the lack of a lead character. This is a problem with this three minute format. You can't take up an entire chapter with just talk.

Right now they're just setting up the plot, so I guess it will take time before we see more favorite characters, like Mace and Amidala. Not to mention the new baddie.
