Question Loyal till the End.

I usually get bored with a series way before it reaches it's final episode. Which sitcoms have you stuck through right till the end?

I stuck with the following throughout their runs:

Family Matters: It started to go bad--granted, it still being on today with the children all in their late twenties (and possibly beyond!) would be far better than The Simpsons in 2003, which should have ended long ago instead of being renewed through 2005.

Home Improvement: It started to age towards the end, so the end in 1999 was somewhat logical. However, a ninth season would have been good if we didn't have to put up with Wilson next door.

Our House: Why NBC only gave it two years is beyond me.

Step By Step: It started to go bad towards the end; Lily hurt this show more than Cousin Oliver did The Brady Bunch.

The Wonder Years: It was canceled way too early!

I stopped watching Roseanne and Home Improvement a year before they ended although I did watch their final episodes. I gave up on Ally Mcbeal and The Practice early too.

Family Matters is really the only show I stuck with through the end. I didn't start watching til 1996, and I would watch it on TBS, WGN, and when it came on ABC/CBS.

Roseanne is fine til about the 7th season. Then it sucked.

The Simpsons are going to go on forever. FOX will never cancel it.

I stay with all my favorites sitcoms longer than I do dramas. I liked Good Times through the entire series, Three's Company, Different World but I would give up on L.A. Law, Hill Street Blues and Dynasty before they were finished. The only season of Saved By The Bell I didn't get into was the first "New Class" when they had this short, curly haired geek sort of like the new version of Screech, I couldn't watch it that season but I came back when the next New Class was introduced.

Dealing with the present shows:

The only ones I'm sticking with are Everybody Loves Raymond, That '70s Show and The Simpsons (Scrubs too, but it's only in its third season).

Though I have missed a couple here and there of ELR and The Simpsons, I will continue to tune in.
I try to catch Will and Grace too, but it's losing me.

Shows that have lost me that are still running:

Fraiser
Ed
Friends
Becker

Roseanne-despite the last season less than funny

Will and Grace-even though I did hate the whole baby thing.

Seinfeld-never got bad

Home Improvement- Didn't like it after Jonathan Taylor Thomas left but still watched it anyhow.
