Its weird how the introduction didn't get changed ....since there are new characters and all. I think they need to re-do it and put Shotzie in

The license plate still says 1978 in the intro.
What year were they supposed to have graduated? Something doesn't make sense here. |

They graduated in 1978. The series thus far takes place in 2 years. They are trying to keep the show in the 1970's.

OK- the show is supposed to start in 1976.
going in logical order and season to season: episode 13 - The Best Christmas Ever - Christmas 1976 episode 30 - Halloween - Halloween 1977 episode 60 - Hyde's Christmas Rager - Christmas 1977 (or 1978 - were there 30 episodes between Halloween and Christmas? I'll even give you that.) episode 88 - An Eric Forman Christmas - Christmas 1978 episode 111 - Thank You - Thanksgiving 1979 so they should be graduation in 1980! |

graduation is usually in the summer. So it's still 78'. The song might get changed later. Something is weird about the new Laurie I don't like her...

Just look at the progression of holiday episodes - they should be in 1980 after the last thanksgiving episode which leads eventually to the graduation episode.
There is no question they screwed up. There are too many holidays for it not to be a later year than 1978. Christmas ep (1976), Halloween ep(1977), Christmas ep (1977), Christmas ep (1978), Thanksgiving ep (1979) |

Its obvious the years don't match up.....which totally sucks. I thought that it was 79 by now
And it looks like it is supposed to be summer all season to make it longer.![]() |
