Default Franklin is a reoccuring character, but Venessa is a regular?

I don't get it, if Frank is just a reoccuring character, then why does he appear in more episodes than Venessa who is suposidly a regular! Franklin appears in like at least half the episodes this season, while Venessa has only been in one. Someone please explain this to me because I don't get it.

The Wayans are producing this show! Things that make sense don't make sense! They're are alot of things about this show that doesn't make sense! My advice: Don't think too much when you watch this show!

Franklin is great, he's the only reason I watch so I hope he does appear on every episode.
