Hello, Damin!

It's almost too close to call, but I think I like the more famous theme ("Whee dee dee dee, Whee dee dee dee") a little better than the first season theme.

Here's what complicates things, though. I like the narration they used for most of the first season ("There is a fifth dimension beyond that which is known to man . . . ") better than any of the other narrations. And I think the first season theme music goes better with that narration than the "Whee dee dee dee" theme music would have. For one thing, the "Whee dee dee dee" theme is probably just too short for that narration.

By the way, the first season theme music was composed by Bernard Herrmann, and the more famous theme was composed by Marius Constant. Bravo to both of them!

Season One - Hands Down
That is some awesome creepy music and the narration just goes perfect with it.
They should have kept that for the whole series.
