Default Days: "Another Firing"

Well... it's been confirmed that Alexis Thorpe (Cassie) has been fired. You can read about it at SNS.

I think this sucks, I can't believe that she's going to be killed off. I really wanted her to stay. Couldn't they have killed off someone else instead of her? Man, this totally bites!!! Pardon my french, but Reilly is really starting to piss me off.

Great, so I guess we'll be stuck with Shawn & Belle and Rex & Mimi. (angela being sarcastic) Well, once Cassie leaves I will only be tuning in to watch the adult storylines, because I will have NO interest in the teens. Hell, I've never had an interest in the teens, except for two times, when they went to Puerto Rico and when Chloe was on. Other then those two times, I find the teens straight up boring and predictable.

Are you sure this is absolute? Because on Dustin's page it said as of right now it was still just a rumor (and he dind't name names, he just said it was a teen). And I know that the last time, Drake Hogestyn was "confirmed" to have been fired and it turned out to be false.

But if it is true, all I have to say is:
YEEEEEEEEEEEEEESSSSSSSSSSSSSS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ::jumps up and down:: I hate Cassie. She irritates the hell out of me. Every time she's on I just wish I could reach through the TV and slap that smirk off her ugly little face. She does absolutely NOTHING for the show except be lippy and tramp around in slutty little outfits.

she's still a hot looking piece of girlhood. very worthy of my time to be bored with her storylines.

Nevermind. I guess Alexis herself posted on her official message board that she is leaving the show. Words can't even describe how happy I am that Cassie will be killed off. Now just get rid of Rex and it will seem like good ol' DAYS again, IMO

My mom and I were talking about what Dustin posted on his site about a teen possibly being fired and she has a feeling that Shawn-(D) was probably next. She could still be right though. She just feels like that because all of a sudden he and Belle were dreaming about their wedding and stuff and she (my mom) said she remembered seeing Hope saying something about she didn't know what she'd do if something happened to either of her sons.

I thought only 1 teen was going to be killed off. If there's a second teen that's going to be killed off, I would have to say that it's going to be Phillip. But also, there's been rumors that Rex is possibly next, but I can't see Rex being the next to go, knowing that Rex and Mimi are involved. I definitely don't want to see Phillip go.
If by chance Phillip is the next to exit, what was the point in bringing back Phillip?

I don't believe for a second that Shawn would be the next to get canned, Shelle is the favorite younger couple.

IF this is true and that's a big "IF" I'm glad. I think she's a terrible character to begin with. I hold nothing against the actress, it's just the character.

It's about dang time is all I can say. My grandma will jump for joy. Cassie is useless she brings nothing to days at all, just sucks up airspace, now if GH and OLTL would get rid of Jenn Rappaport and Courtney Matthews(GH) then I could watch those shows again.

I just wish Cassie would die in Jack's place. I would take, Mimi, Belle, and Shawn over 100 Cassie's, at least those three have ties to Salem.

Oh it's true. Dustin has even posted it on his website under the Comings & Goings. He never posts comings or goings unless they have been confirmed, otherwise they'd go to the Rumor Mill.

We can jump for joy now! Cassie will be D-E-A-D.

It's a shame all these actors have to be fired for there character to die. Can't they do what other soaps do and bring the actor back as a different person?
