We never see Rosco's wife! I assume she existed!

Phil was great as Jenny's dad, but he was annoying. And I think Howard thought so too. He played it great though.

I don't get to watch HD anymore with my work schedule, but occasionally on the weekends I sometimes do, if I remember. Bummer!

I'll do one:
WGN
2O1: Hello Tough Guy

In this one Eugene takes Jenny to a rather sleezy restaurant with Joannie & Chachi. Eugene is trying to impress Jenny, but has little luck until the big dude & Eugene mix it up. Jenny squirts mustard & ketsup all over the dude. Fonzie walks in the room after the 4 leave & thanks the dude for putting on the act. It ends with Fonz & the dude arm wrestling. One wonders whether the dates know the fight was really a set up. It seems Jenny knew about it, but Eugene thought he really got the best of the dude -what was his name?-

Yeah the plan didn't quite go too well at first getting Jenny to out with Eugene, but at the end Eugene's ego was a bit bigger.

That sucks, I don't get TVL but on the station it airs on here it's CTS and it has an awesome airing time. 7:30 everynight but weekends!

I need my notes - i remember this one, was it Chachi and the Fonz trying to set it up for Eugene?
I love Jenny, great character, you just know that she could've dealt with the big bully if she had to

You can get TVL in Canada but I live in the country so it's harder to get. So it's coming in 04'. But Dejavue is awesome. I don't have it but I've seen it. I would say it's better than TVL but it's really great.

2O2-SOUTHERN CROSSING -WGN-

Fonzie & Al go to the south to join in the "Freedom Riders" convention. On the way they meet a black fellow named Charles who invites them to a "whites only" restaurant. At first things are a bit uneasy. Of course prejudice was quite big in the south in the early 60's. I liked the scene in which the waitress finally pours the black fellow some coffee, & her boss decides to keep her. Fonzie bangs on a wall & the "whites only" sign comes down.

What's interesting is that we never see the guys at any convention. We can assume that they went there & carried signs & everything. One wonders if Charles could be blamed for be a bit spectical of having his folks invite their white friends over for the night.

I never would have thought Al was the kind of guy that would go to a "Freedom Riders" convention, but it's cool that he did. I thought it was funny when the Sheriff came into the cafe and the owner pointed out the black kid and the Sheriff made a crack about it ( I can't remember what he said, I'm writing from memory ).

When I watched this one as a kid, i was pretty confused by this ep - I've never liked it when they tried to tackle big issues in a half-hour show. I thought it was good that they tried to make a statement here, I just dont understand why they tried to make it.
Overall it was a good episode, it never got quite as heavy as a Diffrent Strokes afterschool-special type drama, although I must say I was really looking forward to seeing the Fonz ride a bus

watching the ep where Eugene gets help from Chachi and the Fonz to try impress Jenny Picalo, some great lines in it:

Fonzie (after trying one of Al's gumballs from antique machine): "Its amazing what seventy-five years can do to a gumball"

Chachi (to Jenny after Joanie knocks out Eugene): "I think he's dead"
Jenny: "How can you tell the difference?"

Eugene: "Please, accept this pen as a token of my appreciation..."

i watched ep #230 today - the one where Peter Scolari plays "Hey Fonz!"

my fav part is where Mr & Mrs C are practising the play with KC, and they say stuff like:

Howard: *as bubba-joe* "I only shower when I win"

Marion: *in thick hilly-billy accent* "You filthy gator grabber!!!"

Also good when the Falcons are in the church - esp when the monks come in!!!
