be in the house every friday and saturday night if they have a CAR and live in the CITY? I know a person who is 24, has no kids, has her own CAR, and never goes out on the weekend. Does anyone besides me think that is STRANGE?

No I don't think it's strange. Maybe she just doesn't feel like going out. She may be trying to save money. I stay home most weekends too, not only to save money but also because I don't drink or like to hang out in bars and that's mostly what 20 something people like to do on weekends. I'll sometimes go see a movie on friday or saturday but that's about it and it's not very often.

I don't see anything wrong with it. I mean, maybe she doesn't want a relationship right now...don't knock her.

Only you would start a topic like this, Solomon anyway I don't find it odd at all. Every weekend my mother offers to drive me somewhere, give me cash, basically drop me off/pay for whatever I want to do... do I ever? nope. I just like to lay-low on the weekends

I guess i kind of get irritated by a friend of mine who will call me on a Friday night in July and say she is bored. So my response will start to be GO OUT AF DRIVE SOME WHERE!! Now if he OCCUPIED HERSELF like I do, then it's nothing wrong with her being home. But I just don't like to hear she is bored when she can get in her car and do something. I have gotten to the point where i don't even answer her calls on the weekend anymore.

No, that's not strange. Hell, I don't do jack*****. I never really leave the house. We all live our lives in whatever way we want to. Some people are social butterflies while others are anti-social. Nothing weird about it.

I think I asked the question wrong. I should have said is it weird for a person who is 24 and have A car with no kids ans always says she is bored? So answer that question.

Okay. Well, even licensed drivers can be bored. Maybe she doesn't have cash and in this world, you need cash to do stuff.

Thumbs down

That's normal, actually. My brother's 23, not married and doesn't have any children, and he stays home when he's not working.

I'm not a social butterfly either, I stay home a lot. And I like it just fine. My town is a huge meth lab just waiting to be busted..
