JERRY: Yes. Yes I am. Master of my domain. But I will tell you this: I am going over to (Gestures to the nudist) her apartment, and I'm tellin' her to put those shades down!
KRAMER: Woah, woah, woah. What-what did you just say?
JERRY: I can't take it anymore! She's driving me crazy! I can't sleep, I can't leave the house, and I' here, I'm climbin' the walls. Meanwhile, I'm dating a virgin, I'm in this contest - something's gotta give!

It's basically centered around a church, sort of (I've seen a few episodes on upn) and Sherman Hemsley plays the "George Jefferson" type, it was an OK show...

I thought it was, he was still played the stingy middle aged man.

Sherman Hemsley DID play two or three recurring "George Jefferson" guest roles in two other sitcoms before and sometime after his work on The Jeffersons. Just read about it on IMDB.

Ok, here it is;

In addition to Sherman playing "George Jefferson" on All in the Family & The Jeffersons, he also played the same character for which he became very famous for in;

1. E/R

2. Fresh Prince of Bel Aire

3. And the film Jane Austen's Mafia.
