Cool The History of Small Wonder

I need to know something. Was "Small Wonder" ever a spin-off of another show? I know that Small Wonder would have produced a spin-off called "To Good To Be True" starring Vanessa (the evil version of Vicki) but when FOX acquired Metromedia in 1987, FOX decided not to do the spin-off, which I think would have been very successful if given the chance to air.

Can somebody let me know the answer to this question?

Thanks a lot.

Talking Vanessa sequel

I watched this show away at high school and she was cool even for a kid. It would have been so hyper cool with "bad" Vicki "Vanessa" having her own show. You could tell she was a blossoming fox so it's too bad we never got a chance to see her growing up. Did she do any older shows besides Small Wonder?

Talking Vanessa sequel

Well, Tiffany Brissette (the girl who played Vicki and Vanessa on Small Wonder) went on to guest star on Parker Lewis Can't Win on FOX (I think) in 1991, but before that, she played Alice Gillette on the pilot Beanpole for ABC. That show never made it past the pilot.

Also, in 1991, she also was a co-host on the 700 Club, she sang "Say Yes To Jesus." Then, she stopped acting for good after that.

But, I think that had "TGTBT" had aired, she could have been acting up until maybe 1993 or 1994, then maybe done some more shows up until now in 2003.

It was a terrible loss for all of us when she dropped out of the "limelight", but she had things to pursue (mostly personal and religious) and I applaud her for that.

Maybe we can see her on television again someday.

Default Question About Where To See Small Wonder

Is there any other websites out there that you can download "Small Wonder" episodes from than just the "Semi-Official Small Wonder Homepage?"

Is that homepage ever going to be updated with new episodes to download or did they abandon the website and are not going to mess with it anymore?

Is anyone out there in the whole United States of America watching "Small Wonder" on a television channel or on videotape?

If so, what channel, location, and time does it come on?

No, "Small Wonder" wasn't a spin-off of another show.

The webmaster of SmallWonder.TV hasn't abandoned the website, but it's very difficult, and expensive to digitize all the episodes. It takes time to update. If you want the process to go faster, email them and lend your help.

"Small Wonder" doesn't air ANYWHERE in the U.S. I believe that "SW" hasn't aired in the U.S. since 1995- KTTV was the last station to air it. Last year it aired on Indian TV- Star Plus, but it's now off the air, again.

If you want "Small Wonder" back on air try emailing KDOC at, www.kdoctv.net/contact_us.html . If you also want the show on tape try to find someone who is trading it here on Sitcoms Online.

Default A new Small Wonde where?

I just read a sitcom newsgroup that there's a whole new SmallWonder playing over in Asia. This for real? Anyone got the goods on this? If it's real is there a web site for it? Is the robot still a girl and if it's is what's the story on her?
Also what's happened to Tiffany Bissette and what's she doing now? Some newsgroups say she's a religious nut now. Is there a blog about her somewhere? Too bad she quit acting so soon! http://www.sitcomsonline.com/boards/...ilies/talk.gif

In my experience, anyone who has found religion has only done so after doing something incredibly stupid and/or illegal.

This is what I found about Tiffany Brissette:

"Now a young lady in every true sense of the phrase, she is a psychology graduate of Westmont College. Tiffany's versatile talents, which include singing, classical dancing, and concert piano, are also among her hobbies. She also enjoys gymnastics, swimming, skiing, skating, snorkeling and lots of reading, and rates horseback riding as her #1 favorite pastime"
