Do vcds have scene selection on them?
Are vcds made with a dvd recorder or does it have to be a computer? E MAIL if you can answer this for me. |

Vcds have to be made from your computer, you do not need a dvd burner to make a vcd. however you do need to have some kind of program that can burn whatever you want on a vcd. like a movie.

VCD's can be made with complete menus and scene selections. It just depends on the software you use. All you need to burn VCD's is a computer capable of handling the process, a CD Burner, and software to create the discs.
I prefer VCD to VHS for many reasons: 1. The quality will not deteriorate with each play 2. You can purchase CDR's for less than 10cents a piece. 3. They don't take up much room for storage. 4. If I need to copy a VCD I can do it in about 2minutes w/a 40x burner. That's just a few reasons. For more information on VCD's check this website: http://www.vcdhelp.com It will answer all your questions and give you access to the software you'll need. Good Luck, and if you're interested in trading VCD's here's my trading page: http://top1percent@freewebspace.com

actually, you dont have to have a computer to burn vcds. They do also sell stand alone vcd burners that you can just directly hook up to your tv like a vcr. I have one, it works pretty good.
