Does anyone know what this show is? - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

I am looking for something that aired in the early '90's. It wasn't a sitcom, but I think it was a special or award show.

The part I remember featured a group of kids dancing and singing a song, the song mentioned several young actors and whenever the kids said a name (of an actor) in the song, that actor or actress would appear on screen and say (or sing) a few lines. Does anyone else remember seeing this? I can remember a few of the actors who appeared on screen... Will Smith, Mayim Bialik, Mary Kate & Ashley Olsen, and Michael Fishman (Roseanne).

I have looked everywhere online (including IMDB), but nothing is mentioned. Any help would be great! thanks

I am not certain about this but could it possibly have been the
Tenth Annual Youth in Film Awards
They were all in it & by your description, thats exactly the type of stuff that goes on at one of those things.

It was for the 87-88 season.
