Default What musical guests should have appeared in SNL sketch but didn't

Saturday Night Live has a history since Paul Simon of having their musical guests appear in sketches. But what musical guests that did not appear in a SNL sketch, but you felt should have?

The last one goes as far back as last week. Beyonce Knowles (who appeared in a SNL sketch in 2001) should have been sketch, maybe in a sketch that involved Tracey Morgan.

But of all time, there are two acts that as well as being great in what they do in the musical fields in my opinion (depends on musical taste). Are naturally funny. The Time (who was a musical guest when George Steinbringer hosted in 1990) and TLC (who was a musical guest when Bob Saget hosted in 1995). Especially since Steinbringer and Saget are no Steve Martin when it comes to hosting SNL.

The Time were hillarous in Purple Rain and Graffitti Bridge. (though I did not like Graffitti Bridge overal), in their videos, also Morris Day was funny in an episode of 227 and a cameo in the Richard Pryer movie Movin. And the other members were funny in the Janet Jackson music video "Control".

TLC were hillarous in most of their videos (exept when it was a serious video like "Waterfalls", and "Unpretty") espeally the early videos like "Ain't 2 Pround 2 Beg" and "What about your Friends". Also they did some funny short films for MTV, and there appearce on the pilot episode of All That when they played the singing sidekick of a giant frog played by Kenan Thomson.

I was surprised Tupac didn't do a sketch when he was on SNL.

Heck yeah they were hilarious in their 90s videos and short films for mtv. I forgot all about them on the first episode of All That. I didn't ever catch them on SNL back in 95, but with Saget as a host, they definitely needed to do a sketch to help things out with that show.
