Default DVD may be coming soon!!!!

That's right, I heard some news about this during a TV DVD conference that they are thinking about putting Happy Days on DVD. I don't know when this will happen, but at least they are talking about it. I know for a fact that they put it on DVD, because it is the most popular TV show of all time.

Talking Could it be?

More TV products on the way from Paramount Home Entertainment include Taxi, Laverne & Shirley, (((Happy Days))) and Mork & Mindy Complete First Season Collections. Stay tuned for more on these in the future.

Folks, could this be true???
This information was found on www.DavisDVD.com
Then clicking on the link under "Wednesday"
that is listed as
"More new TV DVDs from Paramount, including "Mork & Mindy""

I would probably get the first season of Mork And Mindy and leave it at that.

As for Happy Days, it's no secret that I'd stop with season seven.

It would be cool if they could have the original promos as bonus features and perhaps a documentary. But for some reason, most of these older TV show DVDs tend not to have much, if anything, in the way of extras.

They better do the DVDs by Season and not one of those "Best Of" series.

Wasn't Happy Days shot on film for the first two seasons and videotaped the rest? If so, the first two seasons should look pretty sharp on DVD.

Yep, I'm waiting for the DVD release anxiously too. Here in Finland it hasn't been aired for years and I only managed to tape a few episodes back then. According to TV1 re-runs will not be aired in the near future.

While waiting for the DVDs I'd like to know if there are any episodes available in the net or some P2P-program? I have found some episodes from Emule but they all are dubbed into italian or german which naturally sucks.

Default Only way

The only way you can get your shows released on dvd is to go to www.tvshowsondvd.com and vote for your shows. You must register to vote - it's free. Happy Days is currently ranked 78th of the unreleased tv shows.
