Coming to Cartoon Network's Adult Swim Block in April 2003 - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

Cartoon Network announced that the comedy series Family Guy will be coming to the Adult Swim block in April.

The series, which premiered in January, 1999 on FOX, had a semi-successful run. It started off with high ratings in its 8:30 pm Sunday timeslot, but hit a slump when it was moved to Tuesdays. The show was then moved countless times on the FOX schedule before landing on Thursday night for the rest of its run, ending in February, 2002.

Family Guy is expected to air back to back with Futurama on the Adult Swim Sunday line-up when it premieres in April.
