Curling Up with a Good "Boo" k
For those that have them or have read them, what is your opinion on the three Munsters books released during the show's run? The books that I am referring to are: Munsters (paperback), Munsters and the Great Camera Caper, and Munsters and the Last Resort (Whitman).
The paperback book is by far my favorite. Each chapter is told from the point of view of one of the family members. In this delightful book, the Munsters invade the world of tv advertising and help nab crooks in the process. The Camera Caper book has a movie crew descending upon Mockingbird Lane and of course, the Munsters find themselves in the middle of the action. The Last Resort finds the Munsters mistaking a mad scientist's lab for a vacation lodge. They manage to inadvertently thwart the scientist and his Frankenstein's monster creation in destroying the world. In addition to these three books, a series of comic books based on the show were also released.
