One from each season (two in case of tie):
Season 1: "The After Hours" Described above. Season 2: "Long Distance Call" A boy (Billy Mumy) and his charming but possessive grandmother have a special bond that, thanks to a toy telephone she had given him, continues undiminished after her death. Season 3: "Kick The Can" Charles Whitley and Ben Conroy, two near-opposites in philosophy and personality bonded by life-long friendship, part ways when Charles comes to believe a children's game called kick-the-can holds the secret of youth. Season 4: "Miniature" or "Printer's Devil" a) A shy, introverted young man (Robert Duvall) believes a small wooden doll in a museum display is actually a living woman. b) An unsuccessful newspaper publisher is helped by a mysterious stranger, Mr. Smith (Burgess Meredith). Season 5: "Living Doll" An irritable stepfather (Telly Savalas) takes an instant dislike to the new doll in the household--and she to him. . . . ![]() Last edited by Mr. Bevis : 07-16-2003 at 05:53 PM. |
