Paul Pierce had a terrible game tonight, he had 14 points on 5-18 shooting from the field. He was only 3-5 from the three point line & he was 1-7 from 3 point range LOL. Walter McCarty had 16 points. It's about time he did something. Reggie Miller finally stepped up & played like his old self with 18 points but he was terrible from 3 point range going for 1-7. Jermaine O Neal has been a beast so far as usual. He had 23 tonight.

I meant Paul was 3-5 from the free throw line. Paul was 21-21 from the free throw line in the first game, that's why Boston won the first game. The thing i like about Paul is that he does take it to the hole & draw contact.

So Boston lost? Big deal, it's just one game. I don't understand why you are rubbing it in Swimfan's face. I don't recall him/her ever sayind that Boston wouldn't lose the second game. I do however recall you saying that Boston would lose the first game, which you were wrong about, and Swimfan didn't start a new thread trying to rub your face in it. To me it is obvious that swimfan is just a fan supporting his/her team. I think you just need to chill out and let others express their feelings without giving them such a hard time about it. I do have a question for you Solomon. If the Celtics only rely on Walker and Pierce, and they don't stand a chance, then why did they make it so far in the playoffs last year? Seems to me that they had pretty much the same team last year as they do this year. Why do you think this years team is so much worse?

The Celtics aren't hardly the same team they were last yr. Rodney Rogers & Kenny Anderson were a big part of their success last yr & neither one of them should've left. Vitaly Potapenko was decent with them also & now he's in Seattle where he doesn't hardly play. Vin Baker should've never came to Boston. He hasn't even played in the playoffs so far for Boston has he?

Last year Boston had players who helped Pierce and Walker. It was Rodney Rogers, and Kenny Anderson. This year they don't have those two players and it's realy going to hurt them because Mccarty is not going contribute that much, or Tony Battie. So Boston will probaby be eliminated in game 6. |

Solomon u should watch what u say until the series is over. Indiana sucks. They got blown out last night 101-83. Ron Artest got ejected last night for fouling Paul Pierce hard LOL. Ron has some very very serious issues. The people at the NBA office need to have a meeting about him & do something about him cause this dude is just getting out of hand. Every other game he does something stupid to jeopardize the team of winning anything. He wasn't this damn bad when he was with the Bulls. Why all of a sudden he wanna act up now? Brad Miller got a tech last night for throwing the ball in the air when he got whistled for a foul LOL. Isiah Thomas got 2 dudes on his team in Brad & Ron who got serious issues. Does Isiah truly think that he can get Indiana to play like Detroit used to play back when he was playing? I don't think so. Reggie Miller is starting to punk out by not scoring a lot like he used to. He only had 5 points last night on 5-5 shooting from the free throw line & he was 0-7 from the field. What the hell is that? Reggie knows he needs to shoot way more than that. Indiana needs to stop depending on Jermaine & Ron to do everything. I don't understand why Isiah won't play Ron Mercer a lot. Ron Mercer did score 12 points last night. Al Harrington & Jonathan Bender ain't do nothing last night. They haven't really done anything the whole series so far. If Boston wins this series, i will be shocked.

This behavior by Ron Artest seems awfully suspicious to me. Like you said, when he was with the Bulls he was for the most part a model NBA player, yet ever since the camera throwing incident gave him so much attention late last year, suddenly he's the NBA's new bad boy. Coinscidence? I think not. It was the same way with Dennis Rodman. He was pretty much a model player throughout his whole career, staying out of trouble, and playing by the rules. Then all of a sudden one day he does something controversial, and it's played on ESPN, and on the late local news, and every other channel you can think of. Then suddenly after that one incident he goes from a model player, to the most notorious bad boy in NBA history. Definitely not a coinscidence in my eyes. I believe that for the most part it was an act with Dennis Rodman, and I most definitely believe it's an act by Artest. Dennis Rodman was a pretty good player who was catapulted to superstardom for his bad behavior. I believe Artest is trying to do the same thing. I don't by his act for one second!

Yeah Boston's style of play changed last night. They didn't play the way they usually do by throwing up three's all game. Instead they took he ball to the hoop which surprised me. Also I thought Artest just left the game because he was mad about the foul. I didn't know he was ejected. |

Indiana is so sorry, they played terrible today. Paul Pierce was lighting their asses up in the 2nd half & he didn't even score in the first half. He finished the game with 38 points. He hit a shot in Ron Artest's face after giving him a pump fake LOL & he hit a three in Al Harrington's face before the end of the 3rd quarter while he was talkin trash to him LOL. Paul is the man. The score was 102-92. Boston is gonna win this series. They probably have to face the winner of the Nets & Bucks series don't they Solomon?

Yeah they would play Nets or Bucks. Boston better close out the series in Game 5 because Game 6 will be too hard to win. Both game 5 of the nets/bucks and pacers/celtics is on NBA TV and I can't see it because I think that channel is only on Direct TV. DAMM! |
