Some don't know. Some lie. Some hope. Some wish. Some call the shots. Some call them on the shots. She, Arundhati Roy, is a truth teller.

Yeah, that's probably how George Bush will liberate Iraq. It's inevitable that Iraqi civilians won't be killed. That's so like the USA to deny that they aren't responsible for things. Saying that the Iraqis: men, women and children blew themselves up, denying that UFOs don't exist and Roswell never happened. It's all the same thing. Something to lie about when they don't want anyone to know the truth. If any country needs to be "Liberated", it's the United States of America.

I'm beginning to think that all the problems we had during the Cold War was not the fault of the USSR, it was because of U.S. ignorance!

Actually, more Iraqi citizens have been killed by themselves (wheter blackmailed by their punk 'government' to be human shields or the debris from their futile Anti-Aircraft fire) than by the Coalition forces. But, rest assured, the soldiers of evil will be stopped, one way or another.

You are all ignorant if you don't believe that Saddam uses human shields or kills his own people. If all you people have all these problems with the USA why don't you find a new place to live. If you have it so bad here, and there is another place that would be so much better for you, why don't you move there? Those who forget the lessons of history are doomed to repeat it. |

They won't leave. Oh, they will keep complaining and whining, but do you notice they never actually leave? Not even Alec Baldwin. They conveniently forget history. Or, they try to rewrite it. |

Re: Vietnam... read up about Lyndon Johnson... he was sending troops out to Vietnam by night, and denying it by day (he was a liberal, by the way). The word homophobe proves what a joke you are. As I've said before, I am a classic Cadillac fan. Sometimes we fellow Cadillac enthusiasts get together to look at each others cars, talk about them, etc. One person happens to be a homosexual. I know him quite well and his partner. I do not run away from them (since I am not afraid of them). And, I've yet to either discuss or debate their lifestyle. Like I've said before, you are wrong (again). There is also an annual car event called "heaps of fun." A large portion of participants are homosexuals. Again, I attend and if I see an interesting Cadillac, I talk to the owner about it. Me a "homophobe?" ![]() |

Seems not so long ago that a certain someone was personally attacking AKA for what he's done in the past. Can we say double standard? Quote:
That's what they usually call someone who judges a person and decides they're not equal to you just on the basis of sexual orientation. |

Re: Double standard? Not quite- what I said about AKA was accurate (about the smoking thing). Now, if I said he was dumb or something, that would have been my opinion and that would be a double standard. |
