A Winner Of A Plan!

This is such a good plan that even my pacifist friends should agree to
this one.

I see a lot of people yelling for peace but I have not heard of one plan
for peace. "

Books, not Bombs" won't work. The head mullahs won't let anyone read
them. If they do, they poke their eyes out.

Here's the plan:

1) The US will apologize to the world for our "interference" in their
affairs, past & present. You know, Hitler, Mussolini and the rest of
them 'good old boys'. We will never "interfere" again.

2) We will withdraw our troops from all over the world, starting with
Germany, South Korea and the Philippines. They don't want us there. We
would station troops at our borders. No more sneaking through holes in
the fence.

3) All illegal aliens have 90 days to get their affairs together and
leave. We'll give them a free trip home. After 90 days the remainder
will be gathered up and deported immediately, regardless of who or where
they are. France would welcome them.

4) All future visitors will be thoroughly checked and limited to 90 days
unless given a special permit. No one from a terrorist nation would be
allowed in. If you don't like it there, change it yourself, don't hide
here. Asylum would not ever be available to anyone. We don't need any
more cab drivers. Those folks in Beverly Hills will have to do their own
lawn maintenance.

5) No "students" over age 21. The older ones are the bombers. If they
don't attend classes, they get a "D" and it's back home baby. NO flying
lessons either!

6) The US will make a strong effort to become self sufficient energy
wise. This
will include developing non polluting sources of energy but will require
a temporary drilling of oil in the Alaskan wilderness. The caribou will
have to cope for a while.

7) Offer Saudi Arabia and other oil producing countries $10 a barrel for
their oil. If they don't like it, we go someplace else.

8) If there is a famine or other natural catastrophe in the world, we
will not "interfere". They can pray to Allah or whomever, for seeds,
rain, cement or whatever they need. Besides' most of what we give them
is stolen or given to the army. The people who need it most get very
little, if any anyway.

9) Ship the UN Headquarters to an island some place. We don't need the
spies and fair weather friends here. Besides, it would make a good
homeless shelter or lockup for illegal aliens.

10) All Americans must go to charm and beauty school. That way, no one
can call us "Ugly Americans" any longer.

Now, ain't that a winner of a plan?

AND TO ALL THE WAR PROTESTERS WHO ARE AGAINST OUR PRESIDENT AND AGAINST
OUR COUNTRY GO TO IRAQ I'M SURE THEY WILL WELCOME YOU.

Thank you for the post, Bandito!
You've left out an important part, however -
You see, Iraq wouldn't welcome all of our anti-war protestors.
No person of the Jewish faith would ever be welcome - even if they came bearing gifts of red mercury or anthrax - they'd be killed on the spot for being Jewish.
No women - let's face it - women are there to produce male soldiers, period.
No one that surrounds Hussein, he has killed many members of his own family out of paranoia and gasses his own people.
No one that reports the truth - the truth has no part in much of the reporting of this war, except for the embedded reporters that can't lie about what's happening.
No one that values human life - breaking an infant's leg in front of its parents to force them to admit to crimes they didn't commit is what is required by Iraqi officials.
No one that believes any thing other than what Hussein's regime believes in! This changes daily and includes Muslims.
As the US goes, the world economy goes. I am all for that plan.

That means I would not be welcome at all. Not only am I an anti-war protestor and a woman, but my grandfather on my dad's side was Jewish, so even though my grandmother on my dad's side was english and not of Judaism and my mom was catholic, Saddam would probably kill me for just having a grandfather who was Jewish. Saddam is crazy after all. I wouldn't be surprised if Hitler did the same thing during the Holocaust.

That is why we have to get rid of him. And before you go off on your "Bush won't allow abortion for stem cell research but doesn't care about Iraqi children being killed" mumbojumbo, here is a post that you should read first.

You're still saying that, and you're still wrong. The U.S. is doing everything it can to avoid civilian casualites. We could have (by now) already leveled Baghdad and overpowered the Iraqi military. But, because that method would cause too many civilian casualties, we are doing it in a way that will be less risky to Iraqi citizens. We care more about the safety of Iraqis than Saddam does!
So, one more time- Bush and the U.S. DOES CARE about Iraqi civilians. Enough already of your illogical assumptions about Bush not caring. Why don't you vent your anger on Saddam- he is the murderer.
