Ugh, Have any of you ever had your power go out for days or weeks at a time? Oh my, our power went out Sunday for a little while & came back on but later went off at night & stayed off until yesterday!!!! We had a really bad ice storm that knocked out about all of the power in West Virginia. There's still some places without power! It was sooooo miserable. We didn't have electricity for 5 days and I seriously about died! Everything in my house is electric. We didn't have any heat & it was very cold. Our house's temperture got down to about 30 & I could see my breath!!!! The only heat source we had was our fireplace that didn't seem to help & we had to cook on the fireplace too. Thankfully, the power came on yesterday morning at about 15 til four & I was soooo glad! I would have seriously hated to have been a pioneer or something. We had to bury our food in the snow, save water (the water plant didn't have power so the pumps stopped pumping therefore, no water) & light candles just to see. It was such a weird ice storm too! You could walk on top of the ice & it didn't leave footprints but it looked like snow. Of course, my county got hit the worst. Where my aunt lives, they still don't have power b/c power poles are broken in half & lines are down everywhere! They might turn our electricity off again to work on it so this might just be temporary
Gawd, I hope not!!! |

We had a ice storm here in KY last weekend. Our elecrtic was out from Saturday night to Sunday morning. My grandparents still don't electric from this storm. A tree hit their house and it tore down the lines and broke the pole. So it will be a while before they get power back.

In India, our power would go out allllllll the time. One saturday night to a sunday morning I'd take over from 10 AM to 5 PM everyday.
