Default Vince Neil Goes From 'Surreal' to 'Tucson'

http://tv.zap2it.com/news/tvnewsdaily.html?30133

LOS ANGELES (Zap2it.com) - Once and future Motley Crue front man Vince Neil will make a guest appearance on The WB's "Greetings from Tucson" playing, of all things, Motley Crue front man Vince Neil. The part will be written just for him.

In the episode titled "My Friend Mom," Neil feels the pressures of being a rock star and seeks advice from his new security guard, Ernesto (Jacob Vargas). Ernesto's advice, that Neil should "just relax," leads to unexpected results as the Vince quits the business -- on the eve of a sold-out concert. The episode will air during May sweeps.

Founded in 1981, Motley Crue exploded with 1983's triple-platinum album "Shout at the Devil" and went on to record hits like "Girls, Girls, Girls" and "Dr. Feelgood." The band broke up in the early 1990s, before reuniting in '95.

Neil can currently be seen on the WB's "The Surreal Life," a reality series in which he shares a posh house with a group of former and tenuous celebrities including MC Hammer, Emmanuel Lewis and Corey Feldman.

The appearance on "Greetings from Tucson" is Neil's prize for winning a talent show featured on "The Surreal Life." His blues tune lampooning his fellow housemates triumphed over former Playmate Brande Roderick dancing in a cheerleading uniform and Gabrielle Carteris playing the kazoo.

"Greetings From Tucson" airs Fridays at 9:30 p.m. ET on the WB.

"The Surreal Life" airs Thursdays at 9:30 p.m. ET on the WB.
