Thumbs down Freedom Fries...

This is the most ridiculous thing I have ever heard! There were talking about the French resistence to help with the war with Iraq on the G-Block on Fox News Channel and were talking about how about 60% of Americans are against France's decision about the war. They said that French Cheese sales online have gone down 45% from the American Sales, that some restaurants in this country are taking French Wine off the menus and not buying any more and how this one town in North Carolina changed the name of 'French Fries' to 'Freedom Fries'. How utterly ridiculous is that? I even heard a week or so ago about how some Americans even wanted us to return the Statue of Liberty. Oh how great Americans we're becoming because of all this. Nice to know when there's a country that doesn't support us we try to do our best and phase them out of our society.

*sigh*

And people wonder why it's so easy for eveyone else to hate us... It's because we hate so easily! And we'er so easy to hate.

Oh meangya, thats just stupid. Giving away THE Statue of Liberty??!?!?! Friggan I dont think so, Id be the one chained to it. If France doesnt want to get in the mess, then I dont blame them ya know? If it was my country, Id stay out too to protect my country, but Id be a silent supporter.

I don't blame France. Just because we've helped other countries shouldn't mean that we expect them to jump at the idea of helping us in a war. We shouldn't help other people expecting them to do whatever we want in return.

I agree, I'm going to France too (even if it's only for a week and a half) and I don't want to be rudely treated by either country. I'm so sick of this, every single country I go to, I see how much people hate America. When I go home to India, I get ragged so much. At least my accent automatically changes when I get there so I won't be ragged by people who don't even know me.

Exactly. I mean come on, give back the Statue of Liberty? It's an American landmark. They can't do that, this is all complete bull**** as far as I see it

Putting aside the Sex Scandel, Clinton was the best president we have had since Kennedy and one of the reasons for it is because he had such good foreign policy, and Bush's foreign policy is horrible, I am not saying that all our problems with Iraq and North Korea would be solved if we had Gore in office, but they would be better...A LOT BETTER...Iraq isnt even the real threat and Bush is trying to finish him off because his father couldnt, it is truly ridiculous...but to the point it is presidents like Kennedy and Clinton who make foreign policy better and the relations between two world powers better, unlike Bush who has done nothing but go against this

I told me mom and she's like, "That's so stupid!!" I agree...we are irrational. She has this friend and when she told her she's like, "Now ppl are gonna start 'freedom' kissing" I wouldn't be suprised if we did.

**** the goddamn Frogs! Stupid mother****ers! How could you not want to go to war on our side? Anyone who doesn't want to enter this war with us is against us and should be prosecuted as terrorists. Hooray for America, boo for France.

Just kidding. Now let's go murder some innocent little brown people.
