I liked them both, but Jefferson and Al had better chemistry than Al and Steve did.

With Jefferson, the humor seemed kind of forced, whereas Steve was naturally funnier with Al. My vote is for Steve but I don't think his character could have lasted for 11 seasons. They needed a change.
