Smile I Used To Watch Harper Valley PTA When It Was First On

When I was 9 years old,I used to watch Harper Valley PTA every Friday night at 7:00 CST because I didn't like the Incredible Hulk on CBS at that time. It was a really funny show, where Stella gets into trouble all the time with Mrs. Johnson and the mayor who was played by George Gobel.I couldn't wait for Friday nights and Harper Valley PTA,but when they changed time slots and everything, the San Antonio stations didn't even show them half of the time. When it was on Friday nights,it was the perfect show to come on at 7:00 CST before the Dukes of Hazzard came on at 8:00 CST. Anyone watched Harper Valley PTA when it was on originally???

I too was about 9 or 10 when it first was on and I loved cuddeling up on Friday nights to watch this show. I remember a character girl whose name was Scarlett and I soo wanted to be her! I lived for the weekends to watch HP PTA, KNotts Landing, Falcon Crest, all the good dramas )

My best friends and I would have slumber parties and Harper Valley was the one show we were absolutely giddy over. The Incredible what? Harper Valley was where it was at. Screw the big green guy.
