Default laughed a little last week, none this

I thought Foley with his crotch against the hand dryer and "Look it's Bob Dole" were pretty good.

Last night, I smiled maybe twice. We're supposed to be developing characters and premises, instead they stray into the dumb subplot about the girl learning self defense. The roommate's feud with the landlord was lame, but the end managed some poingnancy....but we want laughs in a comedy.

Less Than Perfect and Girlfriends are going to benefit from this GREATLY. I'm willing to bet that A.U.S.A isn't in the top 10 shows of last night, for the neilson ratings. It was #39 last week, but it'd dead this week. They are in trouble. And they've been showing commercials with phony press taglines. NYPOST hated the show!!!! OY! What is this world coming to....

I gave the show another shot last night and was really disappointed. This show will not survive. IMO

It was down 37% from last week, and only took 65% of Frasier's audience. Less Than Perfect did even better in the timeslot...11% than last week. That means that the AUSA viewers are now turning over to LTP. Good news for LTP fans, baaad news for AUSA fans (if there are any).

SW, correct me if I'm wrong, but aren't most pilots written by someone who then has no connection to the show as everything gets handed over to a team of writers?
