Arrow run down

Unfortunately TD did not get all my attention last night, as I was trying to piece together projects and a paper at the last minute. Procrastination is nice until the last minute, then it just flat out stinks. Anyway, I haven't had a chance to rewatch, but I thought I'd ramble about what I remember anyway, because I found this episode to be a really good one. Definately the best this season if ya ask me. Mr. Levine out did himself.

The case was intriguing and had a twist I did not expect. It was the first case in the longest time I didn't solve from witness one, which was REALLY nice. The entire auroa of it all reminded me of season one, minus Angela-thank goodness.

Captain Kate was present and doing her Captain thing. She blends nicely in every, single episode, which is just great really. The more I see of her, the more I like her.

Raina just fits right in with people. She's so comfortable with herself. The scenes with her going door to door were hilarious, and then she was so compassionate with that young girl who was gipped by her friend.

C.D. and the entire jerk thing was so funny. I gotta say though, she's changed over the past two season. She went to not dating anybody to where it seems like she's constantly dating. Maybe that's just me though. I guess she's become more secure in herself, and I can't help but think having a male partner has helped her in that area.
Nate was great as always. He and C.D. are great together, but they keep missing each other somewhere along the way. I'm happy he was nice to Lily and all, but why doesn't he suck up the courage and just ask C.D. out?! Or maybe that question of dinner was an attempt at a date? Guess we'll never know since they keep missing each other. C.D. looked kinda sad/shocked when she heard Magda say that about taking Lily for coffee, then voila...she goes off and dates the jerk again, leaving Nate looking sad. Those two just confuse me and really get to me. It's obviously there, they just don't see it!

Magda was the Magda of season one. I loved seeing it! She was all at Jinny and all tough and everything. She was the Magda who I liked 2 years ago, not the always sad one who seemed to...well, who just wasn't in the best of moods.

Jinny...I could write a book on her just after these past four episodes. She is the Jinny of the first season, just even more depressed. Jack sees it, he just hasn't recognized what it is yet. At least he's trying though. Just the entire aspect of everything going on in Jinny's life is crazy. As far as we know she hasn't seen her dad who almost dad, so it's like she is now minus two parents. I'm going to spare everyone the book, cause I have another paper to write, but might I just say I hope the upcoming episode that takes place near the 8th mentions the suicide. Actually, I hope Cap mentions it. She would be the one to know, since she has everything on file. I just think there is something there between the two of them and I love their scenes together. I think a Jin/Cap moment, considering the fact Cap is older than Jinny-kinda like a mom, would be fitting. I can so see it!
Also, I wonder how Jack will find out about her mom. He's clueless now, but he'll have to find out sooner or later. It should be interesting. I think she really wants to tell him, but that she is afraid of his reaction.

I'm going to shut up about Jinny though before I get going. I gotta get off now. It's shorter than usual, which is probably a good thing for a lot of yall, but whateva...

until the next new episode...

Hey,,where's everybody??

Ks,,good rundown!

I gotta agree that last night's case was probably the best one we've seen in awhile. Had me guessin' til the end. Raina was funny knockin' on all those doors!

Did anyone notice Lily mentioned that Mag's son is doing fine...at least someone remembered Ben. It was kinda weird to see CD get all jealous about the Lily/Nate coffee thing and then she goes off on a date with the 'jerk'...whateva. You know these two will eventually hook up but it seems to be taking forever!!

Cap was good in last night's eppie but no mention of her campaign for police chief...and is she gettin' married or not? It is hard to keep track since they bounce around focusing on different characters each week.

I just had a feeling what March 8th meant when Jin had that date circled on her calendar. Jinny just went off in that furniture store though...I felt bad for her(and Jack) and screamed at the tv set at the same time. Jack is very understanding considering he doesn't know all of her issues. I really hope these two make it but Jin will have to eventually open up or she's gonna end up back on the bottle and lose everything.

Did anyone notice that Jin supposedly stayed the night with her brother after her fallout with Jack. It just made me think which brother and how will they handle John Jr. thing with the unfortunate death of the actor who portrayed him.

That's all for now.

Thank you both for the input. I've been waiting to see what you thought. I too thought it was an excellent episode. I'm liking Raina more all the time. As for Jinny. Well, she's my favorite, and I thought she was great in this ep. One thing I think is so cool about her is that she is so honest. It didn't dawn on her to tell the old lady at the cemetary anything other than that her mom killed herself. Other people would be embarassed or something and make up a lie. But, not Jinny. It was so sad "she was 36, the same age as me". Someone pass me a tissue, please. And the old lady didn't even stick around to listen to her! She was just "oh, how sad" then walked off! Anyway, I think it was one of the best episodes I've seen.

Yeah,,Jinny was pretty upfront with the lady in the cemetery...most people would not offer up the fact that their mother killed themself.

I thought Jin was supposedly 34 last year..did the poor girl age(2) years during the past season or is it my imagination??

she was 33 in the first season and 35 in the second and now she is 36 that has bugged me forever, that she skipped two years... ok someone kinda caught that! i'm happy now!

Time flies when you're having fun

My thoughts were the same as yours when Jinny mentioned her brother. I immediately concluded it must have been Casey, considering they are the ones who get along in the first place. If the writer's really wanted to through an ink in Jinny's storyline, they could have something happen to John Jr. in the show as well. There are just so many possibilities for Jinny...
