Rhino Home Video has plans to release a "H.R. Pufnstuf" complete series box set on DVD in March and the entire first season for "Land of the Lost" sometime in Fall 2003.

Randy Salas, who is the DVD Columnist & Entertainment Wire Editor at URL=http://www.startribune.com/]Minneapolis Star Tribune[/url], attended the same TV DVD Conference last week that TVShowsOnDVD's own Gord Lacey was at. Randy tells us that the folks from Rhino said at the conference that a season set (or, at least, a multidisc collection) of H.R. Pufnstuf is planned for next year. No specific timeframe or other details were given at the time. Stay tuned, though, and we'll have further information just as soon as Rhino's plans come together and specs get announced. It's great to know that this is in-the-pipe, though. http://tvshowsondvd.com/newsitem.cfm?NewsID=783 The Minneapolis Star Tribune's DVD Columnist & Entertainment Wire Editor, Randy Salas, spent last Wednesday in L.A. at the TV DVD Conference (meeting our site owner Gord Lacey face-to-face along the way, incidentally). Randy was checking his notes from the conference, and sees that he got some news from Rhino Home Video that Gord missed. He was told that a season set (or, at least, a multidisc collection) of The Land of the Lost is being planned for release sometime in 2004. I'm glad to know that this is being worked on. Stay tuned, and we'll have more info for you dino-fans just as soon as Rhino digs it all up! |
