I was wondering what the original Young And The Restless logo looked like when it first premiered in March 1973!!! Also, if CBS is planning on having a special commentrating the 30th Anniversary of The Young And The Restless!!! That would be great!!!!

Actually, there wasn't an "original" Y&R Logo until 1984. It just said:

the
YOUNG
and the
RESTLESS

Then it became the awesome animation Y&R logo and in 2000 it became the new shiny one (which I hate!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Like i said, VICTORIA'S SECRET!!!!!)

In 1973, this was the logo:

Sometime in the late 70s or early 80s the wording changed to this:
the
YOUNG
and the
RESTLESS

I think that at one time, the cast drawings would disapear and the words would expand to fit the whole screen.

Wow, thanks for the original logo!!! That will bring back a lot of memories to all the fans of the Young and the Restless!!!
