Question ELR "kids"

Is there anybody else who finds the children on this show useless? I don't mean to make this post confrontational, but I enjoy the episodes so much more that don't involve them.

Besides, 9 out of 10 times the kids are either taking naps or over a friends house. Anybody else out there feel the same way?

I think the kids are cute in very small doses, but I don't like the episodes that revolve around them too much either.

I've always wondered why the daughter's name is in the opening credits, but the twins aren't. They all get about the same amount of screen time.

Default I agree

I agree. I think the episodes are best when the kids are left out. However, there was one episode w/ Ally that I did like: Talk to your Daughter. It was a great episode.

Is that the episode where Ray has to give the Sex talk to Ally? If so, you're right that was a funny ep.

Yes it was. I also like the part when Robert starts talking about the universe. Pretty funny stuff.

Yea, the kids don't seem to be that important. The only reason why they are on the show is so jokes can revolve around Ray and Debra as parents, instead of just a married couple.

There was also the one where one of the kids writes about "the angry family" in school and the teacher calls them in for a conference, they end up having a counseling session with the priest and everyone gets in an uproar, then at the end, they find out the kid was writing about a cartoon family or something.

Cause blondes have more fun.

The kids don't really damage the show. They just rarely help it.

Hair color is all about genetics, there is SO MUCH that goes into it. My husband & I each have brown hair, but our daughter appears to be having either red or blonde hair. (she still needs to GET some hair) My dad used to have blonde hair, and my husband's mother is a red head. These are both significant factors in what hair color our daughter will have.

Likewise, debrah's mother in the show is red head, and raymond's mostly appears to be blonde.

Like I said, a lot goes into genetics.

Ya'll are right, on all points, Where ARE The kids???? They're hardly ever there...
but those 2 episodes you pointed out, absolutely hillarious, o especially robert with the whole universe thing LOL.

There's something Deborah isn't telling Ray.

*shrugs* I dunno. I just thought I'd throw it in there.

I actually quite like the kids. They're silent plot tools.
