Default Cox Drops the Arquette

http://tv.zap2it.com/news/tvnewsdaily.html?29170

LOS ANGELES (Zap2it.com) - "Friends'" star Courteney Cox
doesn't want to be an Arquette anymore. At least, not
professionally.

After she married actor David Arquette in 1999, she became
Cox Arquette, but the 38-year-old actress now tells InStyle
magazine that she's decided to stick to her maiden name for her
screen credits, in tribute to her father who died of cancer last
year.

"When I was a kid, I wanted to change my name so badly because I didn't like it," Cox says. "Now that my dad's gone,
I don't want to lose it."

The actress says her social security card still reads "Courteney Cox Arquette," and that when she and Arquette have children they will be Arquettes as well.

"It's not an issue for David," she says. "I am an Arquette, but I'm also a Cox."

I hope they drop the Arquette from the Friends opening credits also and make the font bigger like it used to be. When Courtney's name became longer they had to make the font smaller to fit in one line and then they had to make everyone's font smaller.

Yeah I liked the bigger font on the theme too. But I've kind of gotten used to the smaller one but it does look stupid for the smaller names like Matt LeBlanc.

I know, I have kind've wanted to do that myself but, what I'd rather do is use my maiden name and my married name together like she did.

Example: Courtney "Cox" Arquette....

I wouldn't erase my married name because I think it's important too. Although I like my maiden name alot. To erase the married name totally is a real BIG step.

Whatever makes her happy.......

I've read about that somewhere. Hope that David is happy about her name changing...
