Default Just a little nitpick!

On the episode where Sgt. Carter wants to make Gomer get rid of his garden, so he spikes one of Gomer's watermelons. Cpl. Boyle asks the Sgt. "why don't you just tell him he can't have a garden?" To which Sgt. Carter replies that Gomer might complain to the Col.
When would Sweet Gomer Pyle ever complain to the Col. about Sgt. Carter or anyone else for that matter?!
That's my little nitpick. I noticed it while watching that episode today.
But I love the show!

Hey! Welcome to the boards! I guess Sgt. Carter thought Gomer would kind of unknowingly tell the Col. He wouldn't actually go to the Col, but you know how Gomer is. If the Col. came up and talked to Gomer, he might spill everything.

Your right Gomer would never complain, he loved Sgt Carter too much to get him in trouble.

I remember noticing that also. My feeling is that Sgt. Carter constantly misjudged Gomer and often didn't realize how much Gomer respected and liked him. Therefore, even though Gomer would never would complain to the Col., the Sarge had this general paranoia that he might...
