Default 'Family Affair' Welcomes Original Cissy

http://tv.zap2it.com/news/tvnewsdaily.html?28818

LOS ANGELES (Zap2it.com) - The actress who played Cissy on the first
incarnation of "Family Affair" will make a guest appearance on the updated version
of the show.

Kathy Garver, who played Cissy from 1966-71, will appear on an episode of The WB's
remake of "Family Affair" scheduled for Dec. 19. She'll play a love interest for butler
Mr. French (Tim Curry), according to The Hollywood Reporter.

Since "Family Affair" ended its original run, Garver has done extensive voice-over
work, providing voices to animated "Spider-Man" series in the 1980s and '90s. She's
also made numerous TV guest appearances, on shows ranging from "Matlock" to
"Nash Bridges."

Her most recent credits include appearances in "Sweet November" and "The
Princess Diaries."

Thumbs up I Like the New Meeting OLD Family Affair

I was hoping they would do this, any chance the other 'surviving' member , John Whitacker, will be on?

Looks, like some 'wholesome' TV is back on for Children of all ages

For anyone who was wondering, yes, Johnnie Whittaker will also appear on the new show during the same episode that Kathy Garver will be on. That episode will air this Thursday. Get those VCrs warmed up!
