Does anyone here think that Cheers ever Jumped the Shark? I really don't think so. I think that its one of a very few shows that never jumped the shark. It was a great show from season 1 to season 11. It was one of the few shows that actually benefited from the exit of major characters. I dont think the show would have lasted 11 seasons if Coach(as much as I love him) wasnt replaced by Woody(love him too). And it DEFINETLY wouldnt have lasted much more than I would say 8 or 9 seasons if Diane hadnt been replaced by Rebecca.

As much as i enjoyed Woddy and all his wit, if Nick Colasanto would've have lived through his illness, the show would have went just as far or further. And i enjoyed the Diane years much more than the Rebecca years. Although both were great. Now if George Wendt wouldve left the show. it would have crashed. The reason why the show ended was because Ted Danson announced that he was leaving the show. So the series decided to finish season 11 and go out with style, instead of being cancelled. But either way, the show is still the best show n and in my opinion will always be the best. Thank-You.

I definetly like the Diane Years far more than the Rebecca Years! I think the show went a little down hill after Shelley left it, but it was still a great show! I think I am just a little biases towards Shelley though

I think the show made a jump at the start of the 11th season it was a little too much physical comedy for me. I do enjoy all the episodes from all the seasons though.
